Shelbyville ISD to Have Delayed Start

March 21, 2022 - Shelbyville ISD will start 2 1/2 hours late tomorrow, Tuesday, March 22, 2022.

Buses will run 2 1/2 hours late. Staff reports at 10am. Students will report at 10:20am.

Request for Proposals for Heating and Cooling Services

March 11, 2022 - Tri-County Community Action Agency, Inc. (TCCA) has a contract with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs to provide Heating and Cooling Services to low income homes in a seven nine (9) county area. The counties are Harrison, Jasper, Newton, Panola, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Tyler, and Upshur. Should your business not serve all nine (9) counties, you are free to bid on the counties that are in your service area.

N.E.W. Water System Rescinds Boil Water Notice

March 11, 2022 - The water on N.E.W. WSC no longer requires boiling.

On March 2, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the N.E.W. Water Supply, #2030034, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
