Center ISD to Resume Classes on Friday

January 24, 2024 - Center ISD administrators have been monitoring the weather very closely all day. We have driven roads and found many to be impassable. The forecast is calling for more rain throughout the night with possible thunderstorms. Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, Center ISD is cancelling school, as well as all practices and competitions scheduled for tomorrow. The safety of our students and employees is our top priority.

Our plans are to return to school on Friday at our regularly scheduled times.

Joaquin ISD to Have Late Start Wednesday

January 23, 2024 - Joaquin ISD will have a late start on Wednesday, January 24, due to flooded roadways.

School will begin at 9:55am, and buses will run approximately two hours later. Staff should report by 9:30am.

Joaquin ISD will continue to monitor the situation and update if any changes.

Shelbyville ISD Cancels School

January 23, 2024 (10:47pm) - Due to the heavy rain and hazardous road conditions, Shelbyville ISD is canceling school for tomorrow, Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

January 23, 2024 - Due to the road conditions, Shelbyville ISD will begin classes two hours later than normally scheduled (9:45am) on Wednesday, January 24th. Buses will pick up students two hours later than normal if road conditions allow.

Please consider road conditions and use your best judgment when traveling.
