Denning Rural Water Supply Boil Water Notice

November 6, 2019 - Due to a major leak, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required the Denning Rural Water Supply, #2030004, to notify all customers West of FM 354 to boil their water prior to consumption (eg., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions.

Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative Accepting Bids on Vehicles (Pd Adv)

Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative, Inc. will accept bids on the following vehicles on October 21st through October 24th, 2019. These vehicles can be seen between the hours of 8am and 4pm at Deep East Texas Electric Coop headquarters located on Hwy 21 East, San Augustine, Texas. All bids must be turned in by 4pm October 24th. No late bids will be accepted.

Local Nursing Facility Receives TMF Nursing Home and Skilled Nursing Facility Quality Improvement Award

Center, TX (September 30, 2019) – Holiday Nursing and Rehabilitation has received the Nursing Home and Skilled Nursing Facility Quality Improvement Award from TMF® Health Quality Institute. The TMF Quality Improvement Award program recognizes facilities in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas that have undertaken quality initiatives to improve outcomes in resident care and improve their performance on specific national quality measures.
