April 1, 2020 - What a great turnout yesterday by the entire Tenaha school family to drive through and pick up their distance learning packets and materials. The administration team is extremely proud to report that 91% of our students are accounted for and working on their instructional materials from home.

In the past cleaning a virus from a computer required software and some computer knowledge. However, today's threat isn't to your computer's operating system but to your computer's operator - you.

March 30, 2020 - Based on President Trump’s latest guidelines regarding social-distancing, Excelsior ISD has decided to remain closed through April 30. We will closely monitor the situation between now and then and will provide an update by Tuesday, April 28, 2020.
Our teachers will continue to support your child’s education by providing work either via packets or online. Please follow the instructions provided by your child’s teacher regarding the pick-up and return of classwork.
March 24, 2020 - Several important procedures are being implemented this week as Shelbyville ISD’s learning community deals with challenges associated with the coronavirus (COVID-19). Parents, please do your best to help your student complete their work for what we hope is a limited amount of time away from school.
March 20, 2020 - In light of the economic downturn, we at McAdams Propane want to do our part to help stimulate the economy. To do so, we are offering new and existing residential customers a price of $1.95/gallon when 100 gallons are ordered and paid for at the time of, or prior to delivery.
In consideration of the health and welfare of our customers and employees we ask that payment be made over the phone or by leaving a check under the lid of your propane tank.

March 19, 2020 - Given the rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19, EXCELSIOR ISD will extend the suspension of normal district operations through Friday, April 3rd in an effort support our nation’s need to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19. Our health officials report that cases are continuing to spread in the state. Suspending operations for this length of time will allow us to determine, in coordination with local health officials, whether the virus is continuing to spread or whether it has been contained.

March 18, 2020 - As Panola College continues to monitor the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus) the safety of our students, employees, and community remains our top priority. Therefore, Panola College will extend spring break for students Monday, March 23 to Sunday, March 29, 2020, to allow faculty and staff to prepare for providing classes and services online, and to follow the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines regarding social distancing. Courses will resume with online instruction beginning March 30th.
