Center ISD District Provided Meals (Updated)

March 18, 2020 - Center ISD wants to make sure that all students have access to meals during the District’s closure. CISD is providing free grab-n-go breakfast and lunch meals at two locations in the District beginning on Thursday, March 19th. Adjustments to this schedule will be made as needed, so please check our webpage for new information.

Grab-n-go meals will be available for curbside pick-up only at the following locations and times:

Joaquin ISD Information Regarding Continued Education, Feeding Program (Update)

Updated: The new pickup window is from 10:30 am to 11:30 am for both breakfast and lunch to be served at the same time.

March 17, 2020 - Please continue to check media outlets for Joaquin ISD updates regarding the response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

To ensure that your child’s education is continued at home, the Elementary and Junior High campuses will be distributing packets.

Joaquin ISD Decides to Close School Campuses Through March 20th

Update at 7:37pm: After much consideration, Joaquin ISD has decided to close school campuses through March 20th. We ask that all staff and students remain at home during this time.

Joaquin ISD Administration as well as campus administration staff will report as usual tomorrow in an effort to reassess the situation and devise a plan for continuation of limited operation and instruction.

We will update as information arises via media outlets, the Joaquin ISD Facebook page as well as with our School Messenger emergency messaging system.

Excelsior ISD Remains Open; Administration Monitoring COVID-19

March 13, 2020 - Excelsior ISD is actively monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. The Texas Education Agency has provided guidelines and procedures for determining how to address the issue. 
 
We plan to take all necessary and appropriate steps to responsibly address the situation. We have taken the opportunity during spring break to clean and disinfect all desks, tables, door handles, lockers, buses, etc.  

Shelbyville ISD Update on Coronavirus Precautions

March 13, 2020 - Shelbyville ISD is closely monitoring news concerning the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Texas. As of today, it is our understanding that we do not have any confirmed cases on COVID-19 in our school district or in Shelby County. However, there have been confirmed cases in other areas of East Texas and the potential for the spread of the virus to our area is a possibility. We are gathering as much information from the Texas Education Agency and other sources on a daily basis to help us determine how to address this issue in the most effective possible way.

Timpson ISD Monitoring Coronavirus Situation, UIL Contests Suspended

March 13, 2020 - Timpson ISD Bear Update

Timpson ISD is monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and as Texas Education Agency information emerges we will be taking appropriate steps as needed. We have been given guidelines and procedures for determining how to address the issue. As a district, we plan to take all necessary and appropriate steps to responsibly address the issue in a proactive manner. We are participating in state level audio conferences that will provide information daily.
