The water on Denning Rural Public Water System no longer requires boiling.
December 8, 2020 - On December 2, 2020, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Denning Water Supply, #2030004, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
November 13, 2020 - Timpson ISD needs to report that we have had two lab confirmed cases of Covid-19 since last Friday. One case is an employee at the elementary school and the other is a high school student. Parents, please monitor your children for symptoms and report to the school if your child begins having Covid-19 symptoms. TISD will follow protocol from the Texas Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control in our efforts to mitigate the spread of the virus. Your continued prayers are appreciated.
October 9, 2020 - In keeping with Joaquin ISD’s practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all student families and staff members that one Joaquin ISD student was lab-confirmed to have COVID-19. The student was last on campus on October 7, 2020 and tested positive October 8, 2020. Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the name of the individual or details that may identify him or her.
October 9, 2020 - Center ISD Elementary and Middle School campuses have reported another positive case of COVID-19. In response to this occurence, Center ISD has issued letters to parents, guardians and staff members regarding the cases. Once again, the information only states the positive case is an individual and does not identify as a student or staff member:

After eight weeks of school, our Tiger students and staff have done an amazing job of handling school AND doing their part to mitigate Covid-19. Across the nation, organizations are facing tough decisions at this moment as Covid-19 infections have surged yet again. It’s a real virus... people get sick... but the worst part of this virus, is that it is spreading.

September 9, 2020 – Attorney General Ken Paxton today warned Texans about scammers sending text messages that include a false package delivery notice and a fraudulent link. The text messages in question usually claim that a package is pending delivery and requests the recipient to “claim ownership” by providing their credit card and personal information.
Any Texan who receives a suspicious text message should take the following steps:

August 27, 2020 - Joaquin ISD will remain closed through Friday, August 28th due to excessive power outages. Classes will resume on Monday, August 31st.
