March 2, 2015 - Shelbyville HS Boys and Girls Powerlifting teams had several members qualify for the Regional Powerlifting Meets.
Boys Regional Qualifiers are as follows: Christian Schilder, Corey Bearden, Octavian Burrell, and Kal Metcalf. The boys are coached by Coach Michael B. Taylor. They will compete at the Regional Meet on March 7th at 8:30 am in Elkhart, TX.
February 26, 2015 - The Center Roughrider Varsity Boys Basketball team claimed the Bi-District Championship on Tuesday, February 24th against the Jasper Bulldogs.
Led by Sophomore, Octavious Evans who scored 25 points for the night, the Riders confidently marched to victory. With a tied score at the end of the first period, the Riders quickly made adjustments and went into halftime with a defining lead over the Bulldogs, 44-25.
February 22, 2015 - Shelbyville High School Academic UIL students competed Saturday, February 21, 2015, in the Center Roughrider Spring Invitational UIL Tournament. There were over 400 entries from 16 schools in class A – AAAAA.

February 20, 2015 - Shelbyville Boys Powerlifting team competed in the Center Powerlifting meet on Thursday, February 19, 2015. Shelbyville finished 3rd over at the meet with Kal Metcalf taking Best Lifter on the Heavy Platform with a combined weight of 1565 lbs.
Shelbyville is having a good year in powerlifting with 4 lifters in the top 10 in their weight class in the region. The team is coached by Coach Michael Taylor.
February 20, 2015 - The Shelbyville High School Academic UIL team competed at the Chireno High School Invitational UIL Meet on Saturday, February 14th. The students won seven individual 1st place medals and the Literary Criticism Team placed 1st.
February 20, 2015 - Shelbyville HS Varisity boys basketball team won their district championship for the first time since 1989.
The Dragons were 16-5 overall and finished with a 9-1 district record. The team is coached by Coach Jerod Roland and Asst. Coach Joe Boykins.
