Early voting starts October 23 with hours of operation being Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with extended hours on Thursday, November 2, through Friday, November 3, 7:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. Early voting ends November 3.

October 24, 2023 - Two Shelby County Cross Country teams represented their home towns well by advancing to the State Championship on Tuesday, October 24 at Kate Barr-Ross Park in Huntsville, Texas in the UIL Region III 2A Cross Country Championship.
The Shelbyville Cross Country team placed 2nd overall in the girls 2 mile run and the Tenaha Cross Country team took 1st place in the boys 5K run. Both teams are state qualifiers and will compete in the Cross Country State Championships Friday, November 3rd and Saturday, November 4th in Round Rock, Texas.
