Shelby County Museum Announces New Hours; Volunteers Needed

May 28, 2025 - Due to the passing of David Whitlock, a volunteer at the Shelby County museum on Fridays, the museum will only be open Mondays through Thursdays from 1-4pm. The museum will remain closed on Fridays until a new volunteer rises to the challenge of helping to preserve the history of Shelby County.

Historic Courthouse Closes Friday Due to Weather

May 2, 2025 - The Shelby County Historic Courthouse on the downtown square is closed today, May 2, 2025 due to the weather forecast. The DRT docents will be back available to give tours next week on Thursday, May 15. The Historic Courthouse is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 1pm until 4pm.
