August 23, 2020 - The Texas Department of Public Safety was called to a two-vehicle crash on CR 1430, when one driver is reported to have struck another in reverse.

According to Texas Department of Public Safety State Trooper Keith Jones, Friday, August 21, 2020, at 1:01pm a 2018 GMC Sierra pickup truck driven by a 15-year-old minor driver was traveling on CR 1430, when the driver passed a driveway where he was intending to turn. 

The driver stopped and backed without safety and struck a Kia Sol driven by Barbara Simmons Fulbright, 47, of Center.

August 18, 2020 - U.S. Highway 59 just south of Tenaha is the scene of a gravel spill which took place around 3pm Tuesday, August 18.

Constable 4 Taylor Fanguy, Tenaha Police Department officers and TxDOT are on scene to help slow traffic until the debris has been moved.

August 16, 2020 - FM 2026 (Folsom Chapel Road) was the scene of a major two-vehicle collision which resulted in multiple fatalities Sunday, August 16, 2020, at 5:40pm.

August 11, 2020 - Matthew Mettauer, School Board President, opened the Center ISD School Board meeting August 11, 2020, by reading aloud a question from an unnamed individual who had concerns over the school opening during the pandemic.
