June 20, 2017 - The Tenaha City Marshal's Office has been participating in a court ordered monitoring since the settlement over interdiction activities involving past administrations of the Marshal's Office, Constable's Office and District Attorney's Office.
June 19, 2017 - The Shelby County Commissioners approved the purchase of camera equipment needed for the Constable Precinct 4 office by way of the combination of forfeiture funds from the District Attorney's Office and Constable's office.
June 14, 2017 - FM 415 was the scene of a single-vehicle crash due to mechanical failure involving a delivery truck June 13, 2017 just before the intersection of CR 4088.
June 14, 2017 - First responders were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash near Tenaha Monday, June 12, 2017.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety State Trooper Sean Smith, at 12:01pm Ashley Glass, 25, of Tenaha was driving a Toyota SUV southbound on CR 3366 with a 15-month-old female passenger in the vehicle.
The Toyota hit a bump, which caused Glass to lose control. She tried to correct the loss of control and took faulty evasive action, striking a tree. The vehicle then rolled to the right and came to rest upright and on the roadway.
June 13, 2017 - Emergency personnel were notified at 2:26pm of a crash on Hurst Street involving two pickup trucks and a trailer Monday, June 12, 2017 which developed from an incident between brothers in a parking lot.
June 12, 2017 - Dwight Preston hosted his annual mentoring program and football camp on Friday and Saturday, June 2-3. There were about 10 kids in attendance for the mentoring program plus guests.
