February 26, 2019 - The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding the theft of two ATVs. The incident occurred January 28, 2019, at approximately 10:30 p.m. at a location on County Road 1060 in Center.
Game camera footage captured two suspects, a white male and white female, enter the property and push a green Arctic Cat ATV and a red/blue Polaris Trailboss ATV off the lease.

December 31, 2018 - The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has had several reports of a phone scam that started Saturday, December 29, 2018 and is still continuing. The scam reports that the caller states he is Detective Brooks of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. The caller is telling individuals that they have a warrant for their arrest and is requesting payment for the bonds through Google Play cards, Green Dot cards and other forms of prepaid cards and failure to pay the bond through he requested form of payment will result in their arrest.
November 7, 2018 - On November 5, 2018, officers with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Texas Department of Public Safety went to a residence at 1153 FM 2026 in Center in response to reported illegal activity at the residence.
October 30, 2018 - The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of Juan Tremaine Tutt. Tutt is a black male, 5’11 and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
September 19, 2018 - Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Sergeant Josh Tipton stopped a suspicious vehicle on County Road 1453 off Highway 87 N in Center at approximately 5pm September 18, 2018.
September 19, 2018 - Updated: Luis Alberto Ruiz was located September 19, 2018, in Georgetown and arrested by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office. His arrest was made possible by tips from the community which led Williamson County officers to his location.
August 9, 2018 - Shelby County Sheriff Willis Blackwell reports the arrest of Christopher Wuyts, 34, of Porter, and Nicholas Winder, 23, of The Woodlands, after a recent traffic stop revealed a large amount of cash and currency.
August 1, 2018 - The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) responded to a burglary call July 30, 2018 off CR 3341 in Joaquin. Upon arrival, officers met with the home owner who stated someone forced entry into the home and stole several guns.
