Sheriff’s Department Cold Case Division Seeks Info on Price

February 12, 2021 - The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office received a call on Saturday, November 9th, 2019 at approximately 11pm, regarding an individual lying on the side of the roadway on County Road 2020. Deputies responded to the location and discovered a deceased male subject.

SCSO Responds to Gunshot Victim

February 10, 2021 - On February 9, 2021 at 4:56 p.m., Deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office respond to the 2000 block of County Road 4868 in Timpson in regards to a juvenile with a gunshot wound.

Sheriff Kevin Windham reports that once officers were on scene, a male juvenile was found deceased from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The body has been sent for an autopsy. Sheriff Windham reports that no foul play is expected.

October 28, 2020 - The missing 15-year-old from Timpson has been found and reunited with his family Tuesday night.

Sheriff's Department Installs Money Drop Box

October 16, 2020 - A drop box has been installed in the front lobby at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. The box will allow the public to drop money off to inmates housed within the jail.
