September 26, 2022 - Over the week of September 18th through 24th the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department responded to just 3 calls. Here’s a summary of the week’s events.
September 19, 2022 - During the week of September 11th through 17th the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department had 5 total calls. Here is a brief rundown of all that transpired.
The calls began Monday morning with a heart attack patient on County Road 3590. The JVFD EMR team would respond to check out the patient.
Later in the day the EMRs would return to County Road 3590, this time in response to a fall patient with potentially fractured ribs. Allegiance EMS was also advised.
September 12, 2022 - Over the week of September 4th through 10th, the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department had 3 calls, all of which were of the medical variety.
The first call came in on Monday, in regards to a 15-month-old that had fallen off of a table at a residence on Highway 84 East.
Thursday had 2 calls, with the first coming in at 1:35am for an unresponsive 21-year-old female on Southern Avenue. The other call came in at 6:28pm for a man in distress and laying in his yard on County Road 3315.
September 5, 2022 - The Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department is glad to say that there were no emergencies dispatched for the department over the week of August 28th to September 3rd. However, this does not mean there’s no news to share.
August 29, 2022 - The Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department ended the last full week of August with 3 total calls, all of which pertaining to medical emergencies.
The first call came in on Monday, August 22nd for a lift assist on Carroll Street to help a patient back into their home after being returned from the hospital.
August 22, 2022 - Since last week’s report hiatus, the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department has been dispatched to 4 calls. Here’s a breakdown of what transpired.
The first call came in late on Sunday, August 14th for a fire on FM 3082. Upon arriving on the scene, the JVFD found a small campfire and due to the burn ban still being in place, made short work of putting it out.
August 8, 2022 - The opening week of August picked up slightly in call volume for the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department when compared to the past two weeks. Here’s a summary of what transpired.
August 1, 2022 - The final week of July closed with three calls for the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department (JVFD). Here’s a brief rundown of all that occurred.
Starting late in the week with Thursday, July 28th, the JVFD was dispatched to County Road 3267 where a power pole had fallen on a car causing the car catch fire. The incident was discovered to be in the jurisdiction of a neighboring fire department, and therefore the JVFD were called off.
July 25, 2022 - The week of July 18 through July 24 yielded one call for the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department (JVFD). That’s quite the opposite from last weeks high call volume.
Wednesday, July 20 at 9:07pm the Joaquin VFD was dispatched to a medical emergency on Cummings Street. Members of the EMR (Emergency Medical Response) team arrived to find a male patient that was disoriented and having trouble walking. The EMRs checked the patient's vitals while waiting on Allegiance EMS to arrive to transport the patient.
July 18, 2022 - The week of July 11th through 17th was a busy one for the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department with 8 separate outings. Here’s a breakdown of all that transpired.
Beginning with Monday, July 11th, there were two medical calls within minutes of each other. The first was on Carroll Street and the second on County Road 3605. Both patients required transportation by ambulance.
