April 28, 2021 - Crawfish for Cancer will be held Saturday, May 1st, from 10am until 5pm at the First Baptist Haslam Church located next to Brookshire Brothers in Joaquin. $5 per pound and every 5lbs comes with 1 corn and 2 potatoes. There will also be a bake sale! All proceeds go to Boo's Battle Support Fund to help families battling cancer. You can preorder now until Tuesday, April 27th.
April 27, 2021 - The public is invited to attend a cook out in honor of Dr. Robert Hughes, Hughes Veterinarian Clinic, on Tuesday, April 27th from 11am until 1pm on the Center downtown square. The cook out is hosted by the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, Farmers State Bank, and the Center Rotary Club.
