April 19, 2016 - The JHS softball game scheduled for today (April 19th) vs. Gary has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 20th at 5:00 pm in Joaquin. 

April 14, 2016 - The Joaquin Lady Rams varsity softball team defeated their District 22 2A rivals, the Alto Lady Yellowjackets, by a convincing 12-1 score, last Tuesday, April 12. The game was cut short in the fifth inning due to the UIL ten-run-rule.

April 5, 2016 - The Joaquin ISD School Board met March 28, 2016 in regular session at 6pm in the Joaquin Boardroom with the following members present: Jay Dee Cockrell, Tarn Hearnsberger, Jimmy Hamilton, Charles Leflett and Thomas Harvey. Board members absent were Chrisco Bragg and Ronnie Belrose. Guests present were John Martin, Hilltop Securities and Jeff Cater.

April 1, 2016 - Joaquin ISD announces the 2016-2017 Joaquin Junior High cheerleaders and mascot. Squad co-captains are Ebbie McCann and Chrislyn Pena. Mascot is Sarah Ewing. Cheerleaders are JJ Bass, Addisyn Harvey, Madison Baker, Kalie Brooks, Kaylee Oliver, Molleigh Fults, Victoria Byrd, Kaylea Neal, Dori Daw, Jacy Covington, Emma Martin, Brooklinn Penning, and Ashleigh McKim.

March 24, 2016 - The Joaquin HS Softball game scheduled for today in Gary has been moved to a home game. It will be played in Joaquin today at 5pm.
