December 9, 2015 - Update: December 9, 2015 - Food Drive has been extended until Friday, December 11th.
The Joaquin High School GT class is hosting a can food drive. Cans must be turned in by December 9th in order for Joaquin Christian Services to have time to inventory everything.
Please bring cans to the high school by Wednesday, December 9th.
December 8, 2015 - Joaquin ISD Parents and Community are invited to join the PTO and JISD Music Department for Cookies with Santa and Music/Band Concert to be held Thursday, December 17th from 6pm to 8pm in the Joaquin ISD Gym.
At 5:45pm, students Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade are to go to the old gym and parents are to go to the new gym. The program starts at 6pm with the following schedule:
November 12, 2015 - The Joaquin JCC will be hosting Dollars for David on November 18. David is the 2 year old son of Tyson and Christi Penning. Due to issues at birth, David has developmental delays, visual impairment, and cerebral palsy.
November 12, 2015 - Notice is hereby given that on the 16th day of November, 2015 the Board of Trustees of the Joaquin School District will hold a regular meeting at 6:00 p.m., at the Administration building, Joaquin, Texas.
November 10, 2015 - The Joaquin ISD phone system is down at this time, November 10, 2015. We have contacted our service provider and they are working on this issue. We will send an update when the system has been repaired.
November 5, 2015 - Joaquin PTO hosted their annual trunk or treat, costume contest, and silent auction on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. A good time was had by all that attended. Our silent auction was a huge success and each grade that participated earned $475.

October 29, 2015 - Joaquin ISD Parent Math Night will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. in the JISD Professional Development Room (old band hall behind high school; blue building).
Grades 2-5 will host an informational math night for the parents/guardians of our elementary students. We will discuss the components of the program, grade level expectations, and give suggestions on how you can help your child. We look forward to seeing you.
