Parents and Guardians:

August 12, 2015 - Joaquin ISD will offer Online Applications for Free & Reduced Meals this school year. The online applications are user friendly and will help determine if your household qualifies for the meal program. Paper applications will no longer be accepted.

If you have received a letter stating that your household is eligible for free school meals then you do not have to complete the new online application.

August 5, 2015 - Joaquin ISD has scheduled substitute orientation for Monday, August 17th at 10:00 a.m. at the Joaquin High School Auditorium. Notice that the time has been changed to 10:00 a.m.

Anyone interested in a substitute position will need to apply online at www.joaquinisd.net under employment opportunities. If you have any questions, contact Donna Vergo at (936) 269-3128 ext. 225.

July 31, 2015 - Joaquin ISD Athletic Department is offering physicals for all student athletes on Friday, July 31st at 10 a.m. There is not a fee for the physical, but please bring insurance cards.

Football practice will begin Monday, August 3rd. Athletes need to report at 7:45 a.m.

July 27, 2015 - Members from the Joaquin FFA chapter attended the 87th annual Texas FFA State Convention held July 13-17 in Corpus Christi.

July 22, 2015 - The Joaquin ISD School Board met Monday, July 20, 2015 in regular session at 6:00 p.m. in the Joaquin Boardroom with the following members present: Jay Dee Cockrell, Ronnie Belrose, Charles Leflett, Chrisco Bragg (Arrived 6:02 p.m.), Tam Hearnsberger and Thomas Harvey. Board members absent: Jimmy Hamilton.
