February 2, 2018 - State Highway 7 West was the scene of a one-vehicle crash Thursday, February 1, 2018 just under one mile from the San Augustine County line.
February 2, 2018 - Center Police Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Tenaha Street Thursday, February 1, 2018 at just after 6pm in front of the EZ Mart gas station.
January 30, 2018 - Sgt. Christopher Knowlton, with his K9 “Elliott,” was patrolling the Florence Street area when he observed a known male subject. Upon running the subject’s name it was discovered that the subject (not named in this press release) was wanted, out of the Center Municipal Court.
January 26, 2018 - On January 19, 2018, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Paxton public water system, 2100031 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
January 25, 2018 - The water on Denning Rural Public Water System no longer requires boiling.
On January 17, 2018 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Denning Rural Public Water System, #2030004, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
January 24, 2018 - The Patroon County Store located on State Highway 87 South, at the intersection with FM 2261, was the location where a driver made an emergency stop before her vehicle was engulfed in flames Wednesday, January 24, 2018.
