Nacogdoches S.O. reports more arrests made on car burglary suspects
March 13, 2018 - More charges have been filed in the ongoing investigation by the Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office against a theft ring that is responsible for 26 car burglaries that occurred in Nacogdoches County. The Sheriff Office has identified two more suspects that were involved in the thefts and warrants were obtained for both suspects.
March 12, 2018 - A high-speed pursuit started around 2pm Monday, March 12, 2018 after a female fled Wal-Mart in Center and continued for over 30 miles before coming to an end in Louisiana.
March 8, 2018 - On March 6, deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) responded to a report of a hostage situation on County Road 2798 in Shelbyville.
The preliminary investigation indicates SCSO deputies responded to the residence of the reported hostage situation at approximately 10:04 p.m.
***Update*** Election results are all in and three county races are yet to be decided. There will be two run-off races in the County due to no candidate in each race receiving over 50% of the vote. In the Shelby County Commissioner Pct 4 race, incumbent Bradley Allen (48.71%) and opponent Tom Bellmyer (32.88%) will have to wait until the May 22, 2018 for the Primary Runoff Election. The second race to be pushed into a runoff is the race for the Justice of the Peace Pct 1 position.
March 2, 2018 - On March 1, 2018 at approximately 11:55 p.m., Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to a residence on CR 1012 in Center in reference to an assault.
March 2, 2018 - The following cases were recently disposed of in the Shelby County Court. Judge Allison Harbison was the presiding Judge and County Attorney Gary Rholes represented the State.
