Shelbyville Student "Food Drive for Hunger"

October 30, 2015 - Shelbyville Student Council & the Shelbyville JCCs will be collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to the Shelby County Outreach. Please bring any non-perishable food items, such as can goods, rice, beans, cereal, peanut butter, pasta, flour, sugar, corn meal, bottled water and boxed dinners.

Shelbyville Dragon Military Marching Band Continues March of Excellence

October 28, 2015 - The 2015 marching season has proven to be another successful one for the Shelbyville Dragon Military Marching Band. On October 17th, the Dragon Band earned 1st Division ratings from all three judges at the UIL Region 21 Marching Contest.

The 1st Division designation earned the band the opportunity to compete at the Area C Marching Contest, originally scheduled to be held at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches. However, inclement weather forced the Area marching contest to be moved to the Indoor Facility at Carthage High School on October 24th.

Shelbyville Sophomore Places at Cross Country Meet

October 27, 2015 - Keanna Osby, Sophomore at Shelbyville High School finished 5th overall at the Regional Cross Country Meet held in Huntsville, TX , to qualify for the State Meet in Austin on November 7th. Way to go Keanna we are so proud of you!!!

Shelbyville Dragon Band Area Marching Contest

October 23, 2015 - Shelbyville Dragon Band will march Saturday, October 24th at Carthage High School at 7:00 pm in U.I.L. Area Marching Contest.

Shelbyville Band Receives Class 2A First Division Rating

October 20, 2015 - The Shelbyville Dragon Military Marching Band participated this past weekend in the Region 21 UIL Marching Contest. The band was one of 3 bands in class 2A to receive a first division rating in their class. This was the 7th consecutive year that the Dragon Band has earned a first division at marching contest, and that is the longest current streak in class 2A in Region 21.

Mini Cheer Camp Held in Shelbyville
