August 4, 2015 - S. W. Carter Elementary School will have pre-registration for new students moving into the district (pre-kindergarten-5th grade) August 10th - 13th from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Please bring your child’s report card, immunization record, birth certificate, social security card and proof of residency.
July 13, 2015 - Please mark your calendars for Thursday, August 06, 2015. This is the date for FISH Camp (freshmen orientation.) All Shelbyville High School incoming freshmen and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend this orientation. The orientation will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the Shelbyville Cafetorium and should conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m.
The Shelbyville Varsity Cheerleaders attended Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Cheer Camp at Gaylord Texan, this past week and returned with several awards. The squad won 1st place in the Camp Cheer and 1st place in Gametime competition.
Six girls made All American Cheerleader: Belinda Bohannon, WyTavia Jones, Hannah Hall, Kamaryn Smith, Savannah Smith, and Kennedey Parker. These girls earned a trip to go to London to perform as well.

June 3, 2015 - Shelbyville's first Project Graduation was a huge success! On Friday night, after graduation, 47 students entered the Band Hall Complex where they remained for the night.
Games were played, tournaments were held, food and drinks enjoyed.... even a fully cooked, homemade breakfast by our very own Cafeteria Staff was provided at 4:00 a.m..
The highlight of the night was the drawing for 47 prizes - yes, each and every senior in attendance received a prize package thanks to the generous donations of our sponsors.

June 3, 2015 - Attendance in school is usually a good predictor of a student’s academic performance. Students with excellent attendance records have a better chance to perform well in the classroom. The following students did not miss a day and were in attendance 175 days this year. It takes a great deal of determination and effort to attend school the entire year and not miss a day.
