Shelbyville ISD Participates in the Community Eligibility Program for Free Meals (Spanish)

August 10, 2020 - The Shelbyville ISD announced today it will continue its policy to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2020-21 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge. This eliminates the need for collection of meal applications for free, reduced-priced, and paid student meals. The program reduces the burden for both families and schools and ensures that all students receive nutritious meals.

Shelbyville ISD Offering Additional Transfer Request Period

July 29, 2020 - Shelbyville ISD will be offering an additional transfer request period for students (K-12) who missed the earlier transfer request deadline for the 2020-21 school year. The deadline to turn in paperwork for a transfer request will be Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 1:30pm. Transfer paperwork may be picked up from Debbie Gilchrist at the Shelbyville ISD Superintendent’s Office.

Shelbyville ISD Public Notification of Non-Discrimination Notice Career and Technical Education Programs (Spanish)

July 8, 2020 - The Shelbyville Independent School District offers career and technical education programs in family and consumer science, agricultural science, business education, and multi-occupational co-op training. Admission to these programs is based on interest and aptitude, age appropriateness, and class space available.
