August 12, 2020 - Shelbyville High School conducted its service awards and retirees' ceremony on Monday, August 10.
The event took place in Shelbyville’s High School cafeteria, where faculty and staff gathered to commemorate the valuable members of the school and their longevity in the district.
August 10, 2020 - The Shelbyville ISD announced today it will continue its policy to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2020-21 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge. This eliminates the need for collection of meal applications for free, reduced-priced, and paid student meals. The program reduces the burden for both families and schools and ensures that all students receive nutritious meals.
August 3, 2020 - The Shelbyville ISD Instructional Method Survey should be completed by parents for each student at Shelbyville ISD. Parents must reply through the survey or by calling the school no later than Monday, August 3, 2020, if they are committing to At-Home Learning for their child(ren). This commitment must be for a full grading period.
July 29, 2020 - Shelbyville ISD will be offering an additional transfer request period for students (K-12) who missed the earlier transfer request deadline for the 2020-21 school year. The deadline to turn in paperwork for a transfer request will be Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 1:30pm. Transfer paperwork may be picked up from Debbie Gilchrist at the Shelbyville ISD Superintendent’s Office.
July 8, 2020 - A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Shelbyville Independent School District will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020, beginning at 12 noon, in the Cafetorium of the Shelbyville Independent School District at 343 FM 417 West, Shelbyville, Texas.
July 8, 2020 - The Shelbyville Independent School District offers career and technical education programs in family and consumer science, agricultural science, business education, and multi-occupational co-op training. Admission to these programs is based on interest and aptitude, age appropriateness, and class space available.
