December 10, 2024 - Today is an exciting day at the Fannie Brown Booth Library in Center. A crew from Library Interiors is installing new shelves and furniture as part of our renovation project. New lighting should be coming in next week.

If all goes well, we plan to open the first or second week of January. The patience and cooperation of the community is greatly appreciated during this process.

October 30, 2024 - The Friends of the Fannie Brown Booth Library would like to thank the public for the successful book sale benefiting the library.

Many happy readers found lots of hardback and paperback treasures during the week of the sale. The proceeds from the book sale are used to purchase new books and go towards the renovation and any other needs of the library. For more information about the Friends of the Library, please call the library at 598-5522.

The library staff also wants to thank the many Friends of the Library and other volunteers who put in many hours to set up, work the sale and clean up after the sale.
