What's New at the Library

April 2, 2024 - Klaus Gehr will present a program, Auschwitz in the Holocaust, on Saturday, April 6th at 12 noon in the Library Redditt Room. All are invited to attend.

February 7, 2024 - The first "Take Your Child to the Library Day" at the Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library on Saturday, February 3 was a great success in spite of the rainy weather.

Mr. Roy Davis read the book, "Library Books are Not for Eating." The kids enjoyed hearing about a dinosaur teacher with a voracious appetite for books. To Eat!

Bandit the Raccoon made a visit and got lots of hugs. The kids made origami bookmarks, had fun with LEGO's, crafts, dinosaurs, puzzles, coloring pages and magnets. The photo booth was a big hit with the kids also.

Even with rainy and cold weather, we had an attendance of 41.

And the Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library wants to invite you to "Take Your Child to the Library" any time.

January 19, 2024 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library would like to invite you to “Take Your Children to the Library” for a fun day learning about the library on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 10am to 2pm. We will have a Storytime, a photo booth, face-painting, puzzles and Legos tables, a craft table, and an appearance by Bandit the Racoon. We will offer free library cards as well (parents bring a current photo ID).
