February 1, 2024 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors invite the public to join them at a New Owner Ribbon Cutting for Deleite on Wednesday, February 21st at 10am.

New Owner, Yeraldy Rico, is very excited about her new business venture. Deleite is family owned and run. Deleite is the perfect place to stop for all the good, refreshing Mexican inspired treats, drinks, ice cream and more. They are known for the special Zebra Waffle.

January 12, 2024 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Celebration and Awards, presented by Farmers State Bank, will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the Windham Civic Center.

December 8, 2023 - The public is invited to attend the 1885 Historic Courthouse Christmas Open House on Wednesday, December 13th. The Historic Courthouse will be open from 12 noon until 2:00pm for tours and refreshments. The Excelsior ISD Choir will be performing Christmas Carols at 1:00pm in the upstairs Courtroom.

The Historic Courthouse has recently undergone some improvements such as painting and the replacement of light fixtures with more period appropriate fixtures thanks to the support of Shelby County and the Shelby County Historical Commission.

December 1, 2023 - Santa’s Christmas Parade which will be held on Saturday, December 2nd beginning at 6:00pm. The Parade is presented by High Roller Wells. The theme for this year’s parade is “A Fairy Tale Christmas.”

November 21, 2023 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and Staff invite the public to join them at the Shelby County Outreach Ministries for a Ribbon Cutting for their newly renovated building and new client-choice food room.

This event will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 12noon until 1:30. The new food room will allow clients to select food that their families will eat. They would also like everyone to tour the newly renovated building.
