September 10, 2015 - Staff and residents of Holiday Nursing Center gathered to display a blue ribbon in support of Peace Officers and in honor of First Responders and Patriot’s Day.

September 8, 2015 - Starting Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12th, library hours for the Fannie Brown Booth Library will change for Fridays and Saturdays. New hours will be: Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Library hours for Tuesday through Thursday will still be 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

September 2, 2015 - VFW Post 8904 Veterans and Ladies Auxiliary members gathered at the Shelby County Veterans Memorial on Monday, August 31, 2015 to honor Veterans of the Iraq War with Larry Hume, Quartermaster, leading the ceremony.

September 1, 2015 - Delta Gamma chapter recently donated over 200 used cell phones to the Cell Phones for Soldiers project. This was one of their projects for the year and were delighted to donate to this worthy cause.

August 31, 2015 - Daily Bakery & Tortilleria held a grand opening ribbon cutting on Friday, August 28, 2015 at their location in Center located at 812 Shelbyville Street.
