NMC Health Network Announces Plans to Enhance Cancer Program Services

June 1, 2018 - NMC Health Network’s continuous dedication to elevate the quality, consistency and safety of the services and patient care offered to the people of Deep East Texas has led to the organization’s most recent decision to enhance their Radiation Oncology program at NMC’s Loma Laird Cancer Center with the purchase of a new linear accelerator.

More Than 160 Texas Hospitals Join Effort to Reduce Maternal Mortality

May 31, 2018 - The Texas Department of State Health Services’ new TexasAIM program has enrolled 166 hospitals in the effort to decrease maternal mortality and other severe pregnancy complications. That means approximately two-thirds of the Texas hospitals that provide labor and delivery services have committed to adopting clinical practices proven to reduce complications that threaten the lives of mothers and babies.

May 31, 2018 - Keep the Legacy Alive for Daniels School as we remember the last principal, Mr. Clifford Perry Sampson who was known as Professor Sampson.

Like his counterpart, Mr. Daniels, who was mentioned in a previous article, he believed that almost all children have equal capacity to learn. It is noted that he was an honor student the entire time of his pursuit of degrees in spite of working many jobs to pay his tuition.
