May 25, 2022 - Good Morning. It's Wednesday, May 25.

We are still reeling from the horrific news that came over the airwaves yesterday afternoon - a mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

There are no words.
But there are names.
Columbine. Sandy Hook. Virginia Tech. Santa Fe. Parkland.

There are no words.
But there are numbers.
Over a dozen mass school shootings in the last 20 years in America. 

And now we add Robb Elementary to the names.
And we add 19 children and 2 teachers to the numbers.

May 24, 2022 - Good Morning!  It’s Tuesday, May 24.

It’s gonna rain!  Here in Shelby County, Texas we could get up to five inches over the next two days, and we’re under a flood watch.  It’s gonna rain!

Our environment is so different from that of Bible lands.  In an average 12-month period, we get over 50 inches of rain. There are parts of the Holy Land that get less than one inch all year long!  Is it any surprise that words like "water" and "thirst" occur hundreds of times in The Word?

May 24, 2022 — Darcey Goodloe was a Waco high school student in 2010 when her truck was rear-ended by an 18-wheeler. Her truck shot across multiple lanes on icy I-35 and into a median, where it landed vertically, face down. She was wearing her seat belt and survived with just a few scratches.
