February 22, 2019 - The Timpson Lady Bears have made history for Timpson ISD and will play in the regional tournament in Bryan Friday night, February 22nd at 8:00pm. Their opponent is Marlin. Good Luck Lady Bears!

February 21, 2019 - The Colmesneil Baseball Tourney and Cushing Softball Tourney have both been cancelled.

February 21, 2019 - The Dragons will play Friday, February 22 at Woodville High School against Hull-Daisetta. Game time is 7:00 pm and the Dragons will be the visitors.

The Shelbyville Boys varsity basketball team avoided elimination by defeating the Gary Bobcats in a Bi-District UIL Playoff elimination game by an 85-46 score. The game was played at Central Heights High School which was a neutral site.

The Dragons jumped out to an early 5-0 lead and never trailed during the contest. Junior Dragons’ point guard Jay Buckley had a game-high 31 points in the win. He had 15 points at halftime and 29 by the conclusion of the third period.

Shelbyville took a 22-6 lead by the end of the first quarter and led 45-20 at halftime. The Dragons went on a 15-0 run at the start of the third stanza and led 56-21 with six minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Jordan Boykins scored 19 points for the Dragons, Kolby Parker 12 points on 4, 3-pointers for the Dragons. Teammate Cole Ferguson added 8, LD Coleman 7, Jakevian Calhoun 4, H’Leighton McCleland 2, and Kurtric Allen also scored two points.

Cole McDaniel led the Gary Bobcats with ten points and was the only GHS player in double figures.
The Dragons, coached by David Schmidt, are now 33-3 for the season and will move to the Area Round of the UIL Playoffs. The time, opponent, and site of the next playoff game will be posted on Thursday.

February 19, 2019 - Joaquin Youth Sports are having Baseball/Softball signups on February 19th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Late signup is February 21st from 6:00pm to 7:00 pm. There will be a $10 late fee on the 21st.

February 14, 2019 - The Basketball Playoff Preview Tournament is this weekend! Games begin Friday at 1pm (see schedule below). There will be Famous Fried Fish baskets and Shrimp baskets sold through the concession stand for $7 and drink for $2 beginning at 5pm. Tickets will be $5.

TABC Passes accepted. No district passes accepted.

Nacogdoches High School Gymnasium, Tuesday, February 12, 2019 -

The Center Lady Roughriders Varsity Basketball Team fell to the Rusk Lady Eagles by a 35-30 score. The game was a Bi-District playoff played at Nacogdoches High School's Dragons Gymnasium, a neutral site, to determine the winner between District 19 and 20 Class 4A schools.

Four points during the first period, by Lady ‘Riders postman JaKayla Parks, helped Center take a 10-7 lead by the end of the first quarter. Parks had twelve points by halftime which helped CHS carry a 20-19 advantage into the locker room at the midway break. She led the Roughriders by scoring a game-high 19 points for the day.

Kenyada Kincade hit two 3-point shots which helped Rusk overtake Center and led 29-24 going into the fourth quarter. Center and Rusk each scored six points during the fourth period which proved to be a frantic defensive battle.

Junior point guard RaNaiya Kennedy led the Lady Eagles with 14 points.

Center’s season ends with the team posting a 19-14 record. They were 4-4 in District 20 4A action.

February 12, 2019 - All Set!!! The Lady Tigers are set for the Area Round of the Playoffs. Tenaha will take on Broaddus in Cushing on Thursday, February 14 at 7pm. The Lady Tigers will be the Home Team. Let's get there and help give our gals an Area Win on Valentine's Day!!

February 12, 2019 - Shelbyville Lady Dragons are the Bi-District Champions after defeating Cushing 46-38!

The Lady Dragons will play Thursday, February 14 at 6:00 pm versus Hull-Daisetta at Jasper High School. District Passes, Coaches Passes and Senior Citizen Passes will be accepted. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Dragons will be the visitors.
