Shelby County Marching Bands Take Field at Region 21 Contest

October 20, 2025 - This past weekend, five fine marching bands from Shelby County proudly represented our schools at the University Interscholastic League Region 21 Marching Band Contest in Longview, Texas. Each band brought their energy, discipline, and hard-earned preparation to the field.

Timpson High School Sophomores Signed the Panola Promise

October 2, 2025 - On October 1, nearly every Timpson high school sophomore signed the Panola Promise! The Panola Promise Program is an opportunity for students to earn free tuition & fees for up to 3 years at Panola College.

By completing 25 community service hours a year in high school and maintaining a 2.0 GPA, students are eligible for the Panola Promise Program following their high school graduation.

Timpson ISD is proud of these sophomores for signing the Panola Promise Pledge!

Timpson ISD Reserve Football Seating, Senior Passes

August 19, 2025 - Timpson ISD has released the following information on Reserved Football seating, as well as Senior Citizen passes.

Reserved Football Seating – Timpson ISD began selling reserved football seating on Thursday, August 14, 2025. If you wish to keep your reserved seats you had for the 2024-2025 football season, be sure and go to the Central Office and see Sherri to secure your seats for the upcoming 2025-2026 football season.

Timpson ISD Announces CEP Provides Free Breakfast, Lunch for All Students

July 17, 2025 - The Timpson ISD announced today it will operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2025/2026 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.

May 19, 2025 - Timpson High School introduces the graduating class of 2025. Commencement ceremonies will be held in the Timpson ISD Event Center on Friday, May 23 at 8pm.

Timpson 5th Grade Robotics Team Takes First Place

May 14, 2025 - The 5th grade robotics team traveled to Region 7 ESC yesterday and returned with a 1st place trophy.

The team consisting of Carson Young, Luke Jousan, Luke Harbison, and Team Captain Jase Iles were the champions of the challenge phase of the competition!
