June 12, 2025 - Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed suit in the ongoing 23andMe bankruptcy case to obtain a judgment confirming Texans’ right to their genetic data and requiring 23andMe to comply with Texas’s data privacy laws.

June 11, 2025 – In celebration of National Get Outdoors Day on Saturday, June 14, the U.S. Forest Service will waive day-use fees at recreation sites across the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas. This initiative encourages the public to explore the outdoors and enjoy the health benefits of nature.
