December 23, 2015 - Public Notice - This is being posted as an open meeting in the event a quorum of the Timpson City Council is present. There will be a workshop to review the LGB&S Contract and Auditor proposals on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 4:30pm at Timpson City Hall, 456 Jacob.

Timpson to Have Dumpsters

November 25, 2015 - The dumpster will be in Timpson on RR Avenue beside the City Hall on Saturday, December 5th. It will be available in the a.m. until it reaches capacity.

No Oil, No Freon, No Paint, No Batteries, No Tires, No Refrigerators, No Computer Equipment, No dumping outside the dumpsters

City of Timpson Holds Public Hearing Sept. 15th

September 10, 2015 - The City of Timpson will hold a public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 15th 2015 at the Timpson City Hall, 456 Jacob Street, in regard to the adoption of the city’s budget and tax rate for the fiscal year 2015-2016. The purpose of the hearing is to obtain citizen response and input to the proposed 2015-2016 City Budget and the proposed tax rate of .313000. The City of Timpson will consider adopting a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate.
