December 3, 2019 - My name is Donna Hughes and I would like to announce my candidacy for the unexpired term of Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1. The Honorable Melissa Crouch has resigned due to health issues, and our prayers are with her as she remains on the road to recovery.

November 22, 2019 - My name is Patsy Handy, I am currently the Democratic Party County Chairman of Shelby county. I am running for re-election for a second term.

I have enjoyed this post and would like to continue as the Chairman of Democrats of Shelby County.

November 15, 2019 - I am Gary Rholes, your current Shelby County Attorney, and I am seeking re-election in the March Republican Primary.

I graduated from Center High School and attended Panola College, Stephen F. Austin University, and received a bachelors degree from the University of Texas and a degree from the University of Texas Law School. My wife Julie Rholes and I have been married for twenty seven years. We have four children, all of whom attended and graduated from Center High School and three grandchildren.
